Organize your life and your families with this DIY calendar. See how easy it is to make this homemade calendar and to do list with this tutorial. I used to LOVE post it notes. I’d write myself little reminders, try to keep myself organized. But then, I would get lost in post-its. They would get overwhelming with all the little notes and forget to throw some away. So that’s where dry erase boards came into play. All the notes were in one place, and not killing as many trees! I could easily check things off and erase them at the end of the day. The only problem is I didn’t like how dry erase boards look hanging on my walls at home. It reminds me of an office and that’s how I want my home to feel. Then I saw those fancy glass ones, but honestly for a piece of glass, my budget friendly wallet just couldn’t get myself to buy one. After seeing ideas for making initials for families on floating frames and making one. I thought why not find a big one to make a calender or to-do list!! I started scoping it out online and then I waited patiently for Michaels to have a sale. BAM! buy one, get one free = perfect for my budget friendly wallet. I used my cricut and vinyl for this but you don’t actually need a cricut to do this. Since this a floating picture frame, it comes with two pieces of glass within the frame, meaning you can put anything between those two pieces and it should stay as the two pieces of glass lay flat to each other. You could use a ruler, exacto knife and contact paper to make what I did. The only differences is you would write the words in dry erase instead of them being cut out. You could change the colors each week which is kind of fun in my opinion. You’re only cutting simple lines and rectangles. or you can just use regular paper and a glue stick to just make it slightly stick in place, before assembling the frame back together. So lets get started. Congrats you did it! You are now one organized gal! Share with friends! Need more DIYs? Go here Got the travel bug? Go here Want delicious recipes? Love this idea. can you tell me what dry erase marker brand you’re using because I bought two different brands of dry erase markers and the greens and the reds barely show up on the glass. Thanks in advance
