Attention all peanut butter and chocolate lovers! If you don’t have all these ingredients, run! don’t walk to the store because these cookies are just too good to not make right now! Reese’s are a fan favorite in our household, with equal parts peanut butter and chocolate. These peanut butter chocolate chip cookies mimic that, with their soft, smooth creamy peanut butter taste with bursts of chocolate chips throughout the cookie. It is so heavenly and rich. It’s the perfect afternoon snack or dessert. These cookies bake up in less than 15 minutes making it your new favorite cookie recipe. These peanut butter cookies didn’t last long in our house. They were gobbled up by the husband! (He’s a cookie lover too!- hence my extensive list of cookie recipes) I love this cookie recipe as it’s not overly rich or overpowering with peanut butter flavor. It has just enough to keep you coming back for more. Just 12 ingredients to make these delicious cookies. This is a very easy cookie recipe that can easily be whipped up in 10 minutes. Start by creaming the softened butter and then add in both sugars until they are incorporated. Next, add one egg at a time, mixing each egg in. You don’t want to overmix the egg as they will make the cookie become airier and cake-like. Only mix till the egg is combined. This is best done with a whisk but you can use your mixer. The first one doesn’t have to be fully incorporated before you mix the other egg, vanilla extract, and corn syrup in. Just make sure everything is combined after the second egg, vanilla extract, and corn syrup. Now let’s add the creamy peanut butter and water. This will help smooth our base down into a dreamy peanut butter base. Mix until combined. Now, set aside, and let’s mix our dry ingredients. In a separate small bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, slowly mixing as you go. Last, we fold in the chocolate chips. Bake your oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. To have everything meddle and mix better, you can refrigerate the cookie batter for 2 hours for the best results. But if you are anything like me, there is no waiting, I scoop straight onto the cookie sheet (This is a favorite for scooping!) and bake for 12-14 minutes. Allow to cool for 2-4 minutes. They are the BEST warm straight out of the oven but just as tasty later in the day when they have cooled. AH! I’m drooling just thinking about them. Peanut butter chocolate chip cookies is a crowd favorite. A smooth peanut butter cookie base with bursts of chocolate throughout! Whip these up in less than 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugars together.
