Peppermint Spritzer is a light refreshing bubbly cocktail with peppermint schnapps, creme de cacao and champagne. Served best chilled and with friends. 🙂 Peppermints are all the craze this time of year! I’ve already showed you how to make two creamy peppermint cocktails: White Chocolate Peppermint Martini and Chocolate Peppermint Martini. Now, we are going to switch things up a bit and make a non-creamy peppermint cocktail. Poppin’ bottles for Christmas and New Year’s Eve with this cocktail! Just 3 ingredients to this drink making it so easy to make. It has peppermint schnapps, creme de cacao and champagne. The peppermint schanpps provides a nice minty flavor. The creme de cacao gives it a smooth creamy feel without being too creamy and the champagne provides a nice spritz of bubbles. So delicious. My entourage was a little weary when I told them what was in it, but they were pleasantly surprised with the overall lightness and taste of the drink. We sat around the fireplace like it was Christmas eve enjoying Christmas cocktails. A wonderful treat to share with friends! There are many ways you can garnish your holiday cocktail. We chose to use festive sprinkles that were red. You can also do the melted white chocolate and add crushed candy canes or peppermints to the rim. You can add a whole candy cane in the cup, or you can also garnish with fruit. A light bubbly Christmas cocktail with peppermint schnapps, creme de cacao and champagne, perfect for sipping at your next holiday party!
