Pizza Stuffed Crescent Rolls are simple and delicious. Make them as a appetizer or a snack in 20 minutes or less! Holy pepperoni goodness! How cute are these pizza stuffed crescent rolls? They are handheld warm, flakely rolls stuffed with cheese and pepperoni. Perfect on the go snack, or appetizer! My husband and I made two cans and ate them as a meal and had left overs:) We decided to experiment with these pizza rollups and try to taste the difference between brand name vs generic crescent rolls. Off to Winn Dixie we went to buy Pillsbury crescent rolls and the SE Groceers generic brand to see if we could really taste the different between the two. I’m sure you’re curious too! Can you tell the difference in these pictures?.. Neither can we! You’ll be happy to know the only real difference was in the price tag. Don’t get me wrong, we could taste a difference, but not one that I could tell if I wasn’t tasting them back to back. I found the generic crescent rolls were just slightly more salty than the Pillsbury which had a touch of sweetness. This really wasn’t too prevalent when you dip them in the marinara as the sauce provides a nice amount of sweetness to the roll. Heat your oven to 350F. Get out a baking pan. I used parchment paper as well. Pop open the crescent rolls can and start laying the triangles out on the pan. On the biggest part of the triangle, lay down your pepperoni or any pizza toppings your prefer. For the cheese, I used string cheese chunks on top. Carefully wrap the smallest part of the triangle over the biggest part and toppings. Bake for 11-14 mins or until golden brown. Let them cool for 5 minutes and then enjoy! These fantastic little snacks are crescent rolls stuffed with cheese and your own desired toppings for a perfect meal on the go! Roll out crescent rolls Spread marinara across crescent rolls using a spoon. add pepperoni or desired toppings to biggest part of triangle. add chunks of string cheese on top wrap shorter end of crescent roll around bigger part. Bake for 11-14 mins or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 mins and serve with marinara sauce for dipping. Marinara sauce is optional in the crescent roll especially if you are plan to use it as dipping sauce. If you have kids, let me them help out and make their own! A perfect family fun night!
