Sexy Snowman Cocktail is composed of rum, creme de cacao and cream of coconut for the ultimate creamy holiday cocktail. Down here in the South, we don’t get much snow. Especially in New Orleans, it’s a rare site. If we get any, it barely covers the ground. We got a few flurries last year, but only about 40 miles away got a whole couple of inches! A rare exciting treat for them as well! I alway imagined if we had a lot of snow, there would be that one creative person that would dress up their snowman for laughs and giggles as a sexy snowman. A shocking site, but you can’t look away because it’s so intriguing and fun! That’s what this winter cocktail is! Sexy Snowman Cocktail is intriguing, delicious, and keeps you coming back for more! Only 3 ingredients to make this creamy holiday cocktail. (because we love simple right?) Malibu, creme de cacao and cream of coconut is all that goes into this holiday drink. It’s similar to a pina colada but no pineapple juice. Instead we add creme de cacao to make it like a chocolate coconut creamy dream. It was easy to sip this dessert cocktail but not feel overly full like other creamy drinks that are milk based. To make it less sweet, you can use coconut cream. What’s the difference between coconut cream and cream of coconut? Coconut cream is made from shredded coconut and water or milk. It’s similar to coconut milk but has less water making it a thicker consistency. It is used for cooking and has a mild non-sweet taste. If you sweeten coconut cream, you get cream of coconut! This is what is used in pina coladas and other beverages and desserts. I recommended using cream of coconut, but if you find cream of coconut too sweet, you can use coconut cream and add sugar to make the drink your liking. Cream of coconut can be found in grocery stores or liquor stores. Coconut cream can be found in the ethnic section or usually canned next to the coconut milk. You can also get it here. Garnish with shredded coconut on top or if you want to make the rim fancy. Dip the rim in melted white chocolate (like I did with the white chocolate peppermint martini) and then dip in shredded coconut. Optional, but you won’t regret it. 🙂 A delightful winter cocktail with malibu rum, creme de cacao and cream of coconut. Garnish with shredded coconut for the ultimate creamy holiday cocktail. In a shaker filled with ice . Add rum, creme de cacao and cream of coconut. ( see notes if using coconut cream) Shake vigorously in shaker. If you desire the garnish around the rim, do it now. Strain ice before pouring into glass. **If you use coconut cream, do not shake the can before opening. Use only the thick cream part of the can. You may want to add sugar if it isn't sweet enough for your liking.** If you are just tuning in for 25 drinks of Christmas, don’t forget to check out all the other Christmas party drinks.
